Why Choose Copper Plating?
Copper offers moderate corrosion resistance and protects base metals when used as a barrier layer in complex builds.
Copper provides excellent electrical conductivity, making it ideal for contact surfaces and energy transfer applications.
Acts as a ductile, conductive foundation for finishes like nickel, tin, or gold—enhancing adhesion and process compatibility.
Copper is highly ductile and easily applied to intricate or formed parts without cracking or delaminating.
Compared to precious metals, copper offers excellent performance characteristics at a lower material cost.
Process Capabilities
We operate 24 reel-to-reel plating lines with precise control over deposition and part handling. Copper plating can be applied through:
Spot Plating
Used to apply copper selectively to contact points, terminals, or bonding zones.

Selective Stripe (Single/Dual Sided)
Copper is plated in narrow bands on one or both sides of the part—ideal for targeted conductivity or barrier functionality.

Control Depth Plating
Allows tight control of copper thickness to meet electrical, thermal, or dimensional specs in critical designs.

Overall Plating
Applies uniform copper across the entire part for consistent coverage and performance.

All processes are monitored through SPC and XRF systems and verified in our in-house chemistry labs.
Nickel plating is compatible with the following part types and material formats:
Foundational in connector and circuit designs where high conductivity is essential.
Supports thermal transfer, EMI shielding, and plating prep for additional layers.
Ensures a clean copper base layer before forming or finishing operations.
Handles continuous small-part production with consistent copper application.
We work with both customer-provided strip or deliver turnkey plated products.
Copper plating is frequently used as a base layer beneath nickel, tin, or gold to enhance adhesion, manage conductivity, and reduce material costs in multi-layer finishing systems.
